29/ 5 /2016, we had our biggest program that is ‘A Day With Special Children’ that was held in  Kirtash Handicapped Center, Rawang, Selangor. 
It was a memorable day for all of us especially me as this is my first community service project out of IIUM in my university life. I was very nervous that time as I have never approach a disable kid.

So, in the morning, all of us gathered at IIUM main staircase at 8 am.  We had our breakfast there and started our journey at 8.45 am. It took us around 45 minutes to reach the place without facing any traffic jam. When we reach there, I can see how excited the kids was, as they quickly run to the gate to welcome us. They are so innocent. We were given a brief explanation about this center and their operation. Unluckily, the center was recently caught on fire and half of the building were damaged and burnt.  Luckily there is no life infected.






After seeing the condition and the place and also after listening to the briefing, we decided to change our plan from approaching the children to cleaning up the burnt area and packaging all the aids given by people. We were brought into another part of the house to package around 3 big huge canopy full with items given by others. We were ordered to separate the items and put them in boxes and label them. These items were mostly sports tools and equipment and these items were given by a company to be sell by the owner of the place to raise fund for the kids.











We managed to clean most of the place. I love to see all my classmates work in a team. We did things together, and laughed and enjoyed each other. We also prepared lunchbox for the kids and also donated groceries. The owner really thanked us very much and he also welcomed us to visit that place again. We back to IIUM at 12.15 happily and also tired. It was a very great trip and I wish to have a visit to that place again.
p/s: everyone, right now this house really in need of your help..they were give a lot of sport tools and equipment to be sell to raise fund, but they do not know where to sell them all. they have boxes of dumbbells, swimming paddles, knee pads and so on..you can visit their facebook page to get more info.

Di samping itu, Beliau juga dilantik sebagai Ketua Laboratori Etnomatematik dan Didaktik bermula dari tahun 2010 dan menjadi penyelidik bersekutu dari awal penubuhan INSPEM.

BIODATA DR ANHAR OPIR

SAHIBUS SAMAHAH DR ANHAR BIN OPIR Beliau merupakan seorang yang sangat aktif berpersatuan dan pernah memegang mandat sebagai ketua umum Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah pada tahun 1995 dan juga merupakan timbalan pengarah Persekutuan Melayu Republik Arab Mesir. Di samping itu, Beliau merupakan timbalan mufti Selangor dan juga lulusan Ijazah Sarjana Cairo University, Fakulti Darul Ulum di dalam jurusan Falsafah Islamiah. Tesis beliau yang bertajuk “Pemikiran Politik Di Antara Imam Al-Haramain Al-Juwaini dan Al-Qadhi Abu Bakr Ibn Al-`Arabi (Political Thinking Comparison Between Imam Haramain El Juwaini And Qadhi Abu Bakr Ibnu El- Arabi) telah dibahaskan pada tarikh 12 April 2006 bertempat di Darul Ulum, Cairo University.

BIODATA ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. MOHD ROSLAN BIN MOHD NOR

Beliau merupakan graduan university islam antarabangsa Malaysia dalam jurusan sarajana muda ilmu wahyu, kemudian menyambung ijazah sarjana di University Of Abertay Dundee, United Kingdom, dan dikurniakan Ijazah kedoktoran daripada University Of Aberdeen. Beliau merupakan salah seorang pensyarah, dan juga merupakan timbalan pengarah ( penyelidikan dan pembangunan ) akademi pengajian Islam Universiti Malaya, di samping berkhidmat sebagai ketua jabatan sejarah dan tamadun islam, di akademi yang sama. Kecenderungan dan minat beliau terhadap isu- isu semasa berkaitan umat islam, Kepelbagaian kaum dan Islam, pengajian agama dan tamadun, telah mendorong beliau untuk menghasilkan pelbagai jurnal akademik dan sebahagian daripadanya telah diterbitkan hingga ke peringkat antarabangsa.
